Shakespeare in Library Park

Waterbury's Shakespeare Festival

Hamlet, June 2008Join Shakesperience for the Fourth Annual Shakespeare in Library Park during the last two weekends in June. Enjoy a picnic with Shakespeare’s symphony of words under the direction of Emily Mattina. The performance features many actors from our community, as well as six of our most veteran professional resident artists. Tony, Danielle, Andrew, Tyler, Anthony, and Ryan share more than 20 Shakesperience contracts between them!

Pick up a picnic supper on-site from Grand Street’s JoBa Café or call them at 203-591-1801 to order exactly what you want to eat and it will be there when you arrive. Following each night’s performance, meet the cast and company in a downtown restaurant.

Unique lighting, scenery, and sound designs, the Clock Tower, and 6 magnificent summer evenings provide the perfect backdrop for our innovative productions.
